Golden aerie of childhood

Kindergarten is the first stage of the education in the International College of Continuous Education. It is an adaptive pre-school institution where work is built on considering individual peculiarities and abilities of each child. It is the kindergarten where restlessness is considered as cheerfulness, curiosity is considered as inquisitiveness and laziness is considered as tiredness.

The kindergarten guarantees children’s comfortable entry into the educational space providing all-round development for each child on the base of psychological and pedagogical diagnostics.

Educational programmes of the kindergarten provide diagnostics, overall development and correction for pre-school children; prepare them for the school work and collaborative activity through the development of social, research, thinking and self-management skills.

Innovative pedagogical technologies provide possibility for differentiated approach to educational process.

Children can attend the kindergarten from three years old with different level of preparation and different interests. Actual psychological and pedagogical diagnostic of child’s development allows to forecast a perspective and the way of development of each child in group, as well as define the course of corrective work, organize educational process from the position of “to see the world by child\s eyes”.

In the kindergarten conditions for self-realization and revealing creative abilities of children during activities on interests (music, singing, dancing, language learning) are provided.

Success of children’s learning activity is provided by new approach to arranging developmental environment that is based on the position “Brightly, comfortably, attractively”; “I’m playing, creating, running, having rest, growing”. Group room space is divided into three zones: activity zone related to active use of space (movement, playing), zone of quiet activity and learning zone.

Such arrangement of educational environment provides conditions for solitude and collaboration of children according to their interests. Activity centers are provided with original toys and equipment stimulating exploring and creative activity of children.

Special attention is paid to the health maintaining programme that includes:

  • balanced nutrition,
  • individual diets,
  • observing the balance between rest and activity,
  • monitoring of physical development and health condition,
  • medical physical exercises.
