In October 2024, students of the 2A class applied to participate in the Research Academy Competition.
I was pleasantly surprised by the topic "Environment" chosen by five students. The guys chose pressing problems of our time for research:
- Andrey - "Careful attitude to nature."
- Amelia - "Preservation of natural resources."
- Adelina - "Proper nutrition."
- Emil - "Healthy lifestyle."
- Vika - "The second life of waste material."
During the research, Vika held a conversation with elementary school children about the importance of sorting garbage to preserve the environment. The student suggested sorting garbage using special boxes for plastic and waste paper, which Vika's parents helped to purchase.
Adelina conducted a survey of elementary school students on the topic of "Proper nutrition" and, together with their parents, developed a system for calculating the calorie content of foods to promote healthy eating.
Amelia conducted a survey of people around her about the importance of water in their lives. She held a drawing competition, "Water is Life", in which all the children of the primary school took part.
Emil made up his daily routine. He began to keep a diary of success. He began studying the book "Health Lessons" and doing exercises to develop his reflexes.
Andrey conducted a survey and a conversation in the primary school classes about the environmental harm caused by batteries. He organized the collection of used batteries for proper disposal.
Now the children will have to prepare their research presentation seriously.
