In anticipation of the bright holiday of Nauryz, elementary school students took a fascinating trip to the State Academic Puppet Theater of the Almaty Department of Culture. An interactive festive program immersed the children in the special atmosphere of the Nauryz holiday, celebrating the spiritual values and national traditions of the Kazakh people.
Legendary characters—Kydyr-ata, the Moon, the Sun, Buran, as well as the Snake and the Horse—performed traditional games and dances, revealing the meaning of the Nauryz holiday. The children demonstrated agility, speed, resourcefulness, and teamwork during fun competitions, dynamic games, and rousing dances. This format allowed each child to feel part of a large and harmonious tradition.
The highlight of the holiday was a viewing of the legendary educational play "Bey, baton!" (based on the Kazakh folk tale "Ur, tokpak!"). The children followed the main character's adventures closely, laughed heartily at the hapless characters, and, of course, learned an important lesson about justice, honesty, and the fact that good always triumphs.
ПCongratulations to the entire school community on Nauryz! May this day bring the warmth of spring to your homes and peace and joy to your hearts. May the dastarkhan always be full, and may your loved ones be healthy and happy!
Merry Nauryz! May every day of the year be as bright and kind as this spring holiday!
