The children learned the rules for visiting the library and reflected on the importance of developing reading skills.

At the festival, the children met the heroes of popular fairy tales: Little Red Riding Hood, Buratino, Dunno, Doctor Aibolit. Fairy tale heroes organized games and competitions for the first-graders. Sixth-grade students played the role of fairy tale heroes. Senior students taught the children how to handle books and "treat" them properly. At the end of the festival, each first-grader received his first book in the library.
