Classes in the chess club have a positive effect on the development of students' cognitive, emotional, social skills, and analytical thinking.
Chess is not only a game that brings pleasure, but also an effective means of mental development, the formation of an internal plan of action, and the ability to think critically. Playing chess develops visual-figurative and logical thinking, fosters perseverance, thoughtfulness, and determination. A child learning to play chess becomes more focused, self-critical, and accustomed to thinking independently, making decisions, and persevering to the end, rather than losing heart when faced with failures.
Young college chess players are allowed to participate in chess tournaments and earn chess ranks.
