Recently, our school hosted an event in honor of Victory Day. On this occasion, we paid tribute to the poets who not only celebrated the heroism of the soldiers and civilians who defended their Motherland but also endured the war firsthand. Their verses stand as a living testament to courage, pain, hope, and a love for life. We recited poems imbued with memories of the harrowing events of 1941–1945. Each piece helped us grasp the atmosphere of that era and gain a deeper understanding of the true cost of Victory. The poems written directly on the front lines resonated with particular poignancy.

The terrible years of the war will never be forgotten—not only thanks to the historical record, but also thanks to the immortal works of these wartime poets.
