"Pushkin is our everything," "Pushkin is the sun of Russian poetry"—we've heard it since childhood. We remember his kind fairy tales and romantic poems, and we read his poetry and prose. The details of his biography are well known, but today we once again remember Pushkin—the poet and the man.
Why do we love him? For his joy, wisdom, sadness, and nobility. For his fidelity to the dream of freedom that he carried through his difficult life. For his ability to feel happy even when it's very difficult... For the fact that he loved people and knew how to be friends with them...
The life of every person, whether ordinary or brilliant, begins in childhood.
