In October, the "Research Academy" competition launched at the elementary school. It aims to bring together students who want to immerse themselves in creative project work and showcase their discoveries and ideas to the entire school community.
Eleven students from grades 3 and 4 applied to participate in the competition.
The topics they chose were related to the PYP program of inquiry, age-appropriate, relevant, practical, and educational.
The third-grade students chose to explore:
- The role of gadgets in the lives of teenagers - "Captive of the Screen";
- Water purification technologies - "Filter of the Future";
- Urban greening challenges;
- What it means to be a compassionate person;
- The path to success;
- Our AI voice assistant – "Dobrodumchik Chatbot";
DURING THE EXHIBITION ON THE THEME "SOLUTION," fourth-grade students selected the following topics for research:
- Homeless animals. Causes and solutions.
- "The Internet and us: how to live wisely and safely in the digital world".
- Limited resources. Water is finite: how we can become its guardians.
All the students have already actively engaged in researching the selected socially significant topics. We wish them success, the realization of their creative ideas, and the fulfillment of their quest to make our world a better place!
