On April 9th, the college hosted an event that combined classical heritage and the emergence of new music. Our graduate, the talented young pianist Faiza Mushtakova, presented a solo program that was a true revelation for both students and faculty. Faiza performed masterpieces of world and national classics:
- J.S. Bach's "Aria" from Suite No. 3—imbued with philosophical calm and purity;
- Jan Vanhal's "Sonata in A Major"—a striking example of classical harmony;
- A. Sagat's "Talshyn"—a piece by the renowned Kazakhstani composer, bringing a distinctive national flavor and tenderness to the evening.
The highlight of the concert was a premiere. Faiza performed her own composition, "Waltz of Bright Dreams and Inspiration." This piece not only captivated the audience with its melodic quality but also cemented Faiza's status as a full-fledged composer, as she officially received the copyright to her piece.
This success is the result of years of work, creative exploration, and the courage to establish herself not only as a performer but also as a composer.
The concert was attended by third- and fourth-grade students, for whom Faiza's example became a powerful incentive to become not just professionals, but creators ready to contribute to contemporary art.
When music is born in the heart and finds its way to the sheet music, it's magic. We congratulate Faiza on this remarkable achievement and wish her endless inspiration!
