Sixth-grade students who took the Natural Science special course worked actively on the "World Around Us" project during the second quarter. As part of their work on this topic, the students visited the "Samal" water production plant in Almaty. The tour was organized to broaden the students' horizons and develop an understanding of the importance of high-quality drinking water for human health.
During the tour, the students learned about the main stages of Samal water production: multi-stage purification, filtration, mineralization, and automated bottling. Particular attention was paid to compliance with sanitary standards and the modern technologies used at the plant.
The students visited the water quality control laboratory, where specialists explained the analysis and research conducted. We learned how the physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters of water are tested and why regular laboratory monitoring is crucial to production.
The excursion generated great interest among the students, left a positive impression, and proved to be a valuable educational experience.
