On October 3rd, our school celebrated Self-Governance Day, timed to coincide with Teacher's Day. This is a very warm tradition, celebrating the holiday by handing over the reins of government to young leaders, who, in turn, can showcase their best qualities. Many students were eager to try their hand at being a teacher! The students carefully prepared for lessons on all the agreed-upon topics. The school was bustling with activity that day – the shining eyes of the "teachers," their enthusiastic stories of how the lessons went. The teachers' lounge was also a lively place for sharing experiences. The students who had been substitute teachers now knew firsthand how difficult a teacher's job can be.

Students in grades 9-11 swapped places with their teachers for a day, experiencing school life from a different perspective.

The students approached the preparation and execution of this day with the utmost seriousness and responsibility.

Teachers and students remembered Self-Government Day as one of the brightest and most beautiful days of their school life, and this tradition will continue next year, when other graduates will participate in it.
