Creativity is a developmental skill that helps you think outside the box and bring your ideas to life.
In fine arts and crafts classes, children learn to translate abstract thoughts and feelings into concrete images. Working with small parts, brushes, scissors, and play-dough strengthens hand muscles, improves coordination, and develops children's spatial and sensory thinking. Familiarization with various materials, textures, and colors enriches a child's sensory experience.
Volume and shape are represented in the "Horse" sculpture, created from Play-Doh by fourth-grade students. In the works of third-grade students, we see that the painting's coloring can vary depending on the chosen color—cool or warm. And a weave of colored paper turns into a "Fish" rug in the hands of first-graders.
